In September 2015, the 193 member states of the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. A vision of how to transform our world by eradicating poverty and ensuring a transition to sustainable development.

At the heart of the 2030 Agenda are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They cover developmental challenges in all countries, such as climate, biodiversity, energy, water, poverty, gender equality, economic prosperity, peace, agriculture and education.
